We are committed to including both international and U.S. based projects including a few that are local enough for our members to have hands on several times throughout the year.

Jerusalem/WBank/Palestinian | Church Engagement Initiative
The Palestinian Christians are the Living Stones of Christianity in the Holy Land. World Vision is undertaking this initiative to raise awareness in the International Christian community of the struggles of Palestinian Christians. Women of Vision is supporting programs in this initiative to empower Christian families and youth.

Kenya | Child Protection Program
We support the Kenya Child Protection Program in Northern Kenya which particularly focuses on young girls, helping them to avoid FGM (female genital mutilation) and early marriage by providing education up through High School.

We also travel to Kenya, representing WoV, working with amazing World Vision staff (incredibly dedicated, polite, hard-working and beautiful Christians), visiting schools, medical facilities and ... our sponsor children.
Kenya | Walk for Clean Water and Education
We walk to raise awareness about the plight of rural Kenyan girls, in need of clean water and educaton, to give focus on the issues of clean water and hygiene, and to provide water, schools and hope for these vulnerable children.
Mexico | Tijuana Area Development Programs
We support World Vision education and micro-finance programs which better the living conditions of thousands of our neighbors living in poverty below our border in Frontera Norte.

Bolivia | Economic Development
Through the Strong Women Strong World initiative, World Vision will equip 300 Bolivian mothers with vocational and business skills to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.
Los Angeles | A New Way of Life
We support Susan Burton’s efforts in Los Angeles to rehabilitate women who have just been released from prison, offering them a home and opportunities for training and self-sufficiency for their new lives.

Orange County | Isaiah House
Women of Vision has partnered with Isaiah House, an Orange County organization, which provides shelter and meals for homeless women. We offer meals and friendship to women in need.

Orange County | Shalimar Learning Center
We work with THINK Together at the Shalimar Learning Center in Costa Mesa, assisting with after-school tutoring and activities for at-risk children of elementary through high school age.
